Actually, I am excited. Moreso to get rid of the old furniture. It served it purpose for many a meal but it was showing way to many signs of wear and tear to take up space any longer. Old with old in with the new.
Without further ado I present to you my new kitchen table and chairs from Room & Board and my new rug from Rugs USA.

I can sense a cat eying that rug right now.... mmmh it's like fresh cat litter.
It took all of about 15 hours for the cat to make a mess of it. No only did the cat decide to toss its lunch on it, but it decided to try and cover up its lunch by thrashing the carpet a bit.
One or the other might just have to get rolled up and tossed in a bag. Will it be the cat or the rug?
